Rental Terms and Conditions/Contract
When a reservation is placed, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required. The client will receive a contract by paying the deposit, which should be signed within 1-2 days. By paying the deposit, the client agrees to all the terms and conditions of the contract.
- Final payment must be paid on delivery day by cash, debit/credit card
- Any cancellations within three days of the event date will not be honored, and the entire contract balance will be due in full.
- All rental events are considered one-day rentals unless specified otherwise on the invoice. Additional charges may apply if the rental is extended or not ready to be picked up on the day of or after the event.
- The customer (lessee) acknowledges that in the event the equipment described herein (J &J Exclusive Celebrations Property) sustains any damage or destruction or is lost or stolen while under lease to the lessee, the Lessee agrees to pay J &J Exclusive Celebrations Event rental the cost for repair or replacement thereof.
- J & J does not set up and break down tables and chairs. Table and chair setup and breakdown service are available for an additional fee.
- HOLD HARMLESS: Renters agree on all risk and agree to hold J & J Exclusive Celebration event rental and any of its staff harmless from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, and damage, and all costs and expenses arising directly and indirectly at or relating to; The delivery, loading, unloading, installation, dismantling, and the use of rented equipment.
- Rental returns beyond dirty will be assessed as a cleaning fee. Rental equipment, upon return, is inspected. Clients will be charged for any damages to equipment that cannot be attributed to normal wear and tear.
- J & J Exclusive Celebrations reserves the right to modify charges for broken, missing, damaged, or dirty items up to 24 hours after items are returned and inspected.
Linens/Tablecloth
- All linen rentals are expected to be returned in the same quality and condition as they were delivered. For all damages sustained from tears, rips, holes, burns, mildew, and oil stains caused by candle wax, the renter will be charged the purchase price of the replacement linens. The customer is responsible for the replacement cost of any missing or damaged linen items.
Sanitation
- Dishes and all other rentals with leftover food must be wiped clean of unused food and rinsed, if possible, to prevent bacteria buildup. Please pack all rental products back in the crates they were delivered in to have them ready for pick up.
Rain Days/Outdoor Events
- Our furniture cannot be left outside to get wet. Do not leave tables, chairs, or linens outside unprotected from rain. You are responsible for any damages from neglect.
Acceptance of your delivery
- Customers shall inspect the goods at the time of delivery. For any damages inspected at the time of delivery, the customer should notify J & J Rental before set up, and a picture must be taken at set up for the record.
- The customer is responsible for verifying they received the appropriate number on the delivery day. J & J Exclusive Celebrations cannot be accountable for miscounted linens or rental equipment.
Agreement
- Any customer who enters a contract with J & J Exclusive Celebrations agrees to always have a confirmed and valid credit card on file with us during the rental agreement period. You hereby authorize J & J Exclusive Celebrations to store your credit card information and to charge all sums due to us at any time during the terms of this agreement, including damages, unreturned items, and extra rental fees for items not returned by the due date.
